Inglot Freedom System

My name is Suren and I am a palette addict. And I'm pretty happy with being one too. Adding to the ever growing collection is the Inglot Freedom System. The great thing about this one is that it's completely personalised. The size of the palette and the shades can be chosen by you to create your own perfect palette.

I chose to go with the five pan system. The packaging is a thick durable plastic and the lid is held on by four strong magnets in the corner of the palette which allows the cover to come off entirely. The pan sizes are pretty big and have magnets in them which hold the eyeshadow pan in place. Those magnets are also pretty damn strong. I have yet to work out how to take the pan out once I've put the shadow in the hole.
There are a huge amount of shadows to choose from. All different colours and finishes. You can choose neutral shadows, or brights or pastels or even glitters. Anything that tickles your fancy. If you want it, it's probably there.

Obviously, I chose to go with a neutral colour scheme. The shadows I chose are Matte 329 (dark chocolate brown), Matte 357 (warm camel brown), Shine 153 (metallic pinky silver), Shine 154 (metallic rose gold) and Pearl 395 (pearly white). They're really soft and buttery shadows, very blendable and easy to use. I can easily see myself bringing this travelling with me because it has every shade that I'll possibly need to do everyday looks and smoky night looks. Being able to choose my own colours definitely helped that long.

Pricewise, it's on pretty middle ground. Not terribly expensive, but it's definitely not up there with the Nars or Bobbi Brown offers. The freedom system also has blushes and bronzers. It's a great concept, especially for those people who are really picky about their shadows and like perfect palettes. For me, I probably wouldn't buy another one, just because I love buying palettes so much, but I wouldn't avoid going back and picking out any unique or different shades I haven't seen before.
