Welcome to Australia, Urban Decay | Another Haul

As we all probably know, Urban Decay hit the shelves of Mecca yesterday. And while you’re probably not all that interested in seeing another haul, that’s all I have to share right now. And to be completely honest, it’s all I want to think about. Be prepared to read quite a few Urban Decay posts and rant and reviews coming up in the next few weeks. So let’s take a look at what I bought.

Naked Palette: The ultimate must-have Urban Decay product. It’s finally in my hands, and I don’t think I’ve seen anything more beautiful. I’m sure this palette needs no introduction, but in case you’re new to all this, it’s the ultimate warm neutral eyeshadow palette with all the shadow you’d ever need for either day or night looks. There was no way I was leaving without this.

Naked 2 Palette: The sequel to the world’s most perfect palette is just as beautiful as its predecessor. This one is more cool toned in its shadow selection, but still has a few warm shades as well. It's a good balance between the two. A completely and utterly breathtakingly beautiful palette. Funnily enough, when this first came out I wasn't interested in it at all. Now I just can't stop staring at it.

Naked 3 Palette: Yes, I ended up getting all three of them. I’ll admit that I originally wasn’t going to purchase this palette. Rosy shades aren’t something I lean towards too often, so I thought I wasn’t going to see a lot of wear from this one. To be completely honest, it will probably be used a bit less than the other two palettes, but when I saw it in store, I just caved. How can you not when you see these beautiful rosy gold shadows? And since I love rose gold jewellery, I’m sure I’ll like it enough on my eyes. Right?

Naked Basics 2 Palette: It was a tough decision choosing between this one and the original offering, I won’t lie. This one is significantly more cool-toned than the Naked Basics palette, and quite honestly I picked this one because the girl in the store said she preferred it over the first one. But let's face it. Sooner or later, I'll probably end up going home with the original Naked Basics as well. I have no self-control.

Naked Skin Concealer in Medium Light Neutral: I will admit this was an impulse buy. It wasn't thought out very well or anything like that, but I saw Lily Pebbles mention it in a video and I just needed it in my life. The shade is a teensy bit too dark for any sort of highlighting, but it works everywhere else!

All Nighter Setting Spray: Everyone has heard about the setting spray. I couldn't justify buying a full sized bottle, since I barely use setting spray, so I bought a little travel sized one! Let's hope it makes my makeup last all day. Especially since my makeup has to last me from 7am until about 8pm. Hooray for uni schedules.

All the Naked palettes also come with little samples for the four Primer Potions, and because I was one of the people who had a lot of time to spare and lined up very early in the morning, I got a goodie bag of samples too, with a mini Perversion Mascara, Naked Lipgloss in Naked, 24/7 Glide On Eye Pencil in Rockstar and a Prime and Perfect sample set with the Pore Perfecting Complexion Primer Potion and Naked Skin Weightless Ultra Definition Liquid Foundation. A good outcome from waking up at 5am to get wait in line for 2 hours.

Also, earlier in the week I ended up buying the limited edition Naked On the Run set, which is now entirely sold out at Mecca. It comes with six eyeshadows, with the highlight being a larger size than the others, a bronzer and blush, a full sized Naked Lipgloss in Sesso and deluxe sample sizes of the Perversion Mascara and 24/7 Glide On Eye Pencil in Stag. Everything in the palette is limited edition except for the mascara which I think I've linked twice in this post already. I've also already used it so I do have my thoughts on it, but I think I'll leave that for another post. Sneaky!

    1. Hi Claire! Thanks for reading my blog. it's nice to know that people are actually reading what I'm writing rather than me just rambling to myself. On another note, you should definitely head to Mecca sometime soon to get your hands on everything. While it might make your wallet cry, you'll be shedding tears of happiness. (:
