Best of the Brand: Maybelline

It's time for another roundup of what I think are some of the best products a brand can offer, and if you ca't tell already which one we're taking about today, it's Maybelline. Cue singing of their little jingle maybe it's Maybelline...

1. Better Skin foundation: This was a surprising favourite. The foundation gives great coverage and has quite a thick consistency, but is still has quite a natural finish on the skin. I don't know about it's claim to give better skin, but I do think that it does a great job as a foundation. The concealer in the same line is also pretty damn good.

1. Fit Me concealer: Probably one of the best drugstore concealers out there. I mentioned this in my best of 2014 post, but this concealer is like the do-it-all concealer. It's great at concealing blemishes but it's also creamy enough to be an undereye concealer. It does't crease and it is super blendable as well.

1. The Falsies Mascara: It's been a while since I used this, but I think The Falsies mascara is one of the best drugstore mascaras out there. I like my lashes to be seriously black and very thick and obvious, so this is definitely the one for me. It has a fibre brush and really loads up the lashes with a lot of volume and a little bit less length, but enough so that I feel like my lashes haven't just doubled in weight.

1. Colour Sensational lipsticks: Another amazing drugstore lipstick which was also mentioned in my best of 2014 post. The Colour Sensational lipsticks have a great feel to them. They're creamy and smoothto apply, have great pigmentation and that colour selection is phenomenal. They also have a few matte finish lipsticks that are also pretty great too.

1. Colour Tattoo cream eyeshadow: And once again I save the best until last. These Colour Tattoo's are probably one of, if not the best drugstore product ever. They're wonderfully pigmented and quite long lasting. They don't crease on my lids and they also don't dry out too easily in the pot. I've had mine for ages and it's still kicking. Definitely a massive favourite in my books. 

And because I can't help myself, honourable mentions go out to the gel eyeliner and the Instant Age Rewind concealer. Maybelline really kills it at concealers because this one is also incredible under the eyes - it's creamy, blendable and doesn't crease. The gel eyeliner is another amazing Maybelline product which i honestly think is one of the best gel eyeliners on the market. It works just as well as high end ones - it's very black, smooth and like the Colour Tattoo, doesn't dry out easily either.
