The Ultimate CC Cream? | It Cosmetics CC Cream Review

When the BB cream trend came along, I wasn't really the biggest fan. They all felt like fancy tinted moisturisers that didn't give enough coverage for my taste. And then CC creams happened and the same sort of thing happened where they were basically tinted moisturisers except maybe a little bit more green. So I was skeptical when I heard so many rave reviews about the It Cosmetics CC cream, but I had to give it a go. That turned out to be a pretty awesome decision.

The It Cosmetics CC cream is a really thick CC cream that has an insane amount of coverage. I have the shade Light, and the colour leans towards the neutral end of the spectrum, which lends itself to correcting some of the darkness and spots that litter my complexion. It's also super easy to apply, which I usually just do with a buffing brush and then pressing it in with my fingers. It also lasts really well on my face without slipping or breaking up, though I do need to powder unless I like the greasy T-zone look.

What I love most though is that the product has SPF 50, which means when I'm having a lazy day, I could absolutely skip out on sunscreen, even when I shouldn't. It gives a good boost of moisture as well, so I never need to worry about my dry patches looking a little flaky.

It's stocked at Sephora for $59, although it cannot be bought online through the Sephora Australia website as of yet. Hopefully that'll come soon so even if you're nowhere close to a Sephora store, you'll still be able to get your hands on some pretty amazing stuff.
