Christmas has to be my favourite time of the year for beauty shopping, just because the Christmas collections that come out are incredible. They give you the chance to buy multiples of a product, or try out a whole heap of things from one range, for a fraction of the price of the products if you were to buy them individually. Which is usually why I go a little nuts around this time and spend a boatload of money. But at least I've come away with some things to share!
Bare Minerals Love at First Kiss Collection: The collection is a set of 10 mini versions of Bare Minerals famous Marvelous Moxie lipsticks. They all have a nice satin finish and range from some really nice nudes, all the way to this gorgeous berry colour. They're perfect for trying out a lot shades in the collection, so I won't need to fork out for full sized ones.
Bare Minerals The Regal Wardrobe Palette: I absolutely adore last year's Bare Minerals palette, and this one looked just as beautiful. It has two blushes, a contour and highlight and eight eyeshadows. Spoiler alert, those eyeshadows, especially the shimmery ones are incredibly beautiful.
Nars x Steven Klein One Shocking Moment Palette: Hello to the most beautiful palette I own. This is a stunning collection of some of Nars's amazing face products. It has a bronzer (obviously Laguna), they're contour kit and four beautiful blushes. I'm especially excited because I was actually meaning to buy a couple of those blushes separately, so I'm glad I managed to snag this.
Nars x Steven Klein A Woman's Face Set: I've been eyeing this set since I first heard about the Steven Klein collection. I love a good nude lip, and Dolce Vita has alway been on my radar, but i own a ridiculous amount of products. I thought this would be a good set to try out a lot of products for a decent size.
Stila Sending My Love Collection: I didn't have any plans to purchase this set, but I tried the tester and the quality of those eyeshadows and that highlighter just made me grab it. It's stunning, as are all Stila eyeshadows, and I'm really excited.
Stila Eternally Yours Liquid Lipstick Set: I've been eyeing up the Stila liquid lipsticks for a while, and this set has a couple of favourites in here that are super hard to get a hold of (Patina anyone?) They're also really cutely sized, which makes them perfect for carrying on the go.
Also released is the gorgeous Hourglass Ambient Lighting Edit. I decided to pass on it, because it's smaller than what I expected, and I already own three of the six powders in the edit. But if you're new to Hourglass and dying to give their products a go, it's a good palette to try, even if it is really expensive.
