Bourjois Happy Glow Foundation Review | drAUGUSTore

Bourjois is one of those brands that I've only recently been testing out over the past year or so, just because it's on the more expensive end of the drugstore spectrum. So far though, I've been really enjoying all my pieces from their range, so I though it was a good time to test out their foundation that I've heard wonderful things about.

The Bourjois Happy Light foundation is a lightweight and light coverage foundation aimed to give a glowing and flawless complexion. It's supposed to have a nice luminous finish and light coverage to make skin look more like skin.

I have mine in the shade 52 Light Beige, which is the second lightest colour in the range, but it is a tad too dark for me at the moment. The colour range isn't all that sensational, but it feels incredibly light on the skin, and not at all tacky, almost like you're not wearing anything at all. The finish is definitely on the dewy side, with a very light coverage targeted more at evening out the skin tone than giving flawless skin.

All in all, it definitely lives up to its claims, and if lightweight, luminous foundations are your thing, then this one is a good addition to the collection.
