Ever since my first beauty loop box, I've steadily progressed up the levels. Now I'm sitting on level three (the highest level mind you) and wondering just how much money do I spend at Mecca? Or maybe I shouldn't think about it at all...
Moving along, the level three beauty loop box is bigger and better than its underlings. There are five products: four samples and one full sized one. I wasn't expecting that either. So let's just roll through them.
Verso Super Facial Serum: You know you've hit the big time when they start giving you samples of products that cost a fortune. I have no idea what this product is like. I feel like it's too expensive for me to even break open and test. Let's face it, I may never end up buying the product. I'm just saving it for a rainy day, or a pamper day, or a crappy skin day. We'll just go with what the website says on the serum. It contains Retinol 8, which is supposed to help tighten and brighten the skin, improve collagen production and skin texture and reduce the look of fine lines, wrinkles and dark spots. Sounds like a miracle in a packet.
By Terry Hyaluronic Hydra Powder: I've heard some pretty good things about this powder from Amelia Liana on her channel, and I've stared at it longingly in stores, so I was pretty stoked when this little things was found tucked into the corner of my beauty loop box. It's a loose powder that is supposedly brilliant at setting makeup without getting cakey or dry. What I didn't know is that you could put it over your night cream to allow it to be fully absorbed. Talk about miracle products. This box seems to be full of them.
Tocca Cleopatra Fragrance: I must admit I'm the sort of person that forgets to use fragrance sometimes. Funnily enough I love them and I have a decent amount for someone that only uses a few spritzes a couple of times a week. The Cleopatra scent has notes of jasmine, rose, grapefruit, vanilla musk, amber and patchouli. It's quite a strong, floral scent and I feel it gives off a very sophisticated and mature, feminine vibe. It may be a scent more suite for romantic nights out than everyday wear though.
Stila Smudgestick in Moray: And finally, the full size product. One of my beloved Stila Smudgesticks. I'm not going to go too much into depth, because I'm pretty sure I've mentioned multiple times how much I love these - here, here and oh look here as well. Luckily they gave me a shade I don't already own, though if they did give me one of those, I'd probably be in need of it pretty soon. The shade is Moray, which is a beautiful olive liner with a fine golden shimmer in it. At first I thought I wouldn't like it but I quite like the effect on my eyes. I've used it smudged out on the lower lashline for a slight hint of colour and I've also used it to craw in my beloved cat eye on one of my more adventurous days. It worked a treat and was beautiful for the entire day.
I must say, this quarter's beauty loop box was simply amazing. I love everything that's been given and may end up buying a few of the products as well. I might also take advantage of the beauty loop membership perks so they don't all go to waste. Who says spending money on makeup is a bad thing?
On a slightly (not really) related note, I calculated the amount of money the tiny 2mL of Verso serum would be if I bought it. $10.60. For 2mL. This stuff is like liquid gold.
