Too Faced Melted Kisses Lipsticks Set Review

Another set of Too Faced lipsticks! This time is it's the Too Faced Melted Kisses Liquefied Lipsticks set. I knew I was going to love this because I already own one of them, and I desperately wanted some other shades. This set comes with four mini sized liquid lipsticks. The packaging of them is identical to the larger one, just smaller. It has a little fuzzy application tip which is supposed to be good for super precise application. They also have this strong scent to them, similar to the scent of MAC lipsticks but I find it less in-your-face. 

The four shades in this set are Melted Nude, Melted Peony, Melted Fuchsia and Melted Berry. I already own the Melted Nude. It's described as a "neutral nude" is is a warm toned pinky-brown nude shade. Melted Peony is described as a "dusty rose" and is a light rosy pink colour that looks a little pale on my skin, but it's workable. Melted Fuchsia is described as "hot pink" and is a cool toned bright fuchsia. Melted Berry is a vampy berry red.

All the colours have a nice satin finish and last for good six or seven hours on the lips. The two darker colours leave a bit of a stain on the lips afterwards as well. The product is also really easy to apply, but not the most sanitary because of the fuzzy applicator. I had a little bit of a problem with the application with Melted Peony because the pigment and the liquid hadn't meshed properly, but after a good shake and a couple of tries, I managed to get the colour to apply as evenly as the others.

I really do love these lipsticks. They're probably my favourite liquid lip colours that I've tried. I'm not sure there are many of these sets out, so if you see it, snatch it up quickly. The set retails for $34 at Mecca.
