Mecca Beauty Loop Box

Mecca Cosmetica and Mecca Maxima has to be one of my favourite stores. They stock all these beautiful beauty brands and oh it's such a beautiful place full of happiness and beauty products. It's seriously amazing. If you didn't know, it's sort of a one stop shop for lots of high end beauty products such as Bobbi Brown, Yves Saint Laurent, Stila and Too Faced. They also sell skincare brands like Origins, Ren and Mario Badescu, and perfumes and haricare (Bumble and Bumble!) and nail stuff. Yeah, it's a heavenly place.

They have a rewards system called the Beauty Loop where depending on the amount of money you've spent in store, you can get invitations to exclusive beauty events, a complimentary makeup application on your birthday and even exclusive access to new products and limited edition collections, depending on which level you're on. Also, as a Beauty Loop member you get 4 beauty boxes a year. And here's the first one I've received.

I'm actually a Level 1 Beauty Loop member (it's the lowest level), but luckily they had just ran out of the Level 1 box. Literally. The girl in front of me got the last box. So I had to get the Level 2 box. No complaints from me!

So in this box, I received four samples. The first is the Philosophy Time in a Bottle daily age-defying serum. It is supposed to transform your skin inside and out at any age by defying the appearance of all major signs of aging and help the skin appear more radiant, smooth and firm, along with a few other benefits. It's a decent sized sample (2 mL) and has a cute little pump on the bottle, which I love.

I also received the Philosophy Purity 3-in-1 cleanser for the face and eyes, It is touted an an amazingly gentle cleanser that is supposed to gently cleanse, tone and remove makeup, while lightly hydrating the skin. I have heard some pretty good things about this so I'm excited to try this out.

The next product is a sample of the bareMinerals 5 in 1 BB advanced performance cream eyeshadow. It is a cream eyeshadow that is supposed to prime, brighten and even out the eyelid. It also has an SPF of 15 which is really great. The colour I received is Barely Nude, which is just a nice nude colour that looks pretty similar to my skin colour.

The last product is a 9 mL sample of the Korres Fig shower gel with organic extracts of althea and helichrysum. I have no idea what althea and helichrysum is. I'm really curious as to what the scent is like. The packet says it has the juicy scent of freshly cut figs. Yummy. So I'm looking forwards to trying that out as well.

So that's what I received from the Level 2 Beauty Loop box. If anyone knows what was in the Level 1 and Level 3 boxes, please let me know. I am so curious. Until next time!
