Let's start with Beauty Bay. I WAITED SO LONG FOR THESE. SUPER EXCITED. Okay the first thing is the Stila In The Light palette. I've been eyeing this palette for ages. But I just haven't been able to fork out $62 on a palette. But then I saw this on Beauty Bay, I had a weak moment, and I caved and I bought it. And I love it. Isn't it just a beauty? Just look at it's prettiness. And it also came with a Stila Stay All Day Smudge Stick in Damsel which is just a nice dark brown. Definitely worth the spend.
I also bought the Too Faced Natural Eyes palette. Now I know these have really blown up recent on the blogosphere recently but I swear I got these before that happened. I was choosing between this one and the Boudoir Eyes and ended up with this one just because the colours are ones I'd use more often and more regularly than those in the Boudoir Eyees. I'm super excited about this palette and hopefully I'll have a review up for you.
The next thing is the Stila Convertible Color in Petunia. It's just a gorgeous creamy pink colour that just reminds me of springtime and flowers. Cream blushes have been really appealing to me recently and I'm excited to give this a go.
I also purchased the Too Faced Melted Liquefied Longwear Lipstick in Nude. It was honestly an on-a-whim purchases but I've heard some pretty good reviews so I'm excited. I do tend to purchase my better lipsticks in neutral wearable colours because I'm more likely to wear those than others, especially when I'm in a hurry.
I also bought the Too Faced Better Than Sex mascara. I definitely have a love for drugstore mascaras. I love the Covergirl Lashblast mascara and the Revlon Lash Potion but I've been wanting to try some more expensive mascaras. Actually the price of this was pretty similar to a full prices mascara from Priceline. Anywho, I got this one because I've heard pretty good things about it from GlamLifeGuru on YouTube, who I love. So I was like, she likes it? Yes I want on. The packaging is really gorgeous and sleek and I'm excited to give it a go.
I also bought three Stila Stay All Day Waterproof Liquid Eyeliners. I got them in Intense Black, Dark Brown and Moss. I'll obviously use the black and dark brown shades a lot but I've been meaning to play around with coloured eyeliners and I thought a dark green would be nice. Because it's a little different from the navy that people usually go for. I'm really excited to use these and they came at the right time as I think my previous liquid eyeliner is almost gone.
I also got the Stila Stay All Day Smudge Stick waterproof eyeliners in the Color Outside The Lines set. It comes with five eyeliners, Stingray (intense matte black), Lionfish (metallic bronze), Navy (matte navy blue), Aubergine (matte cranberry) and Emerald (matte teal). I'm always on the hunt for a great pencil liner. And I thought this set would be a great way to test out the Stila range. The Emerald colour (which really isn't emerald. That's quite deceiving isn't it?) will probably be a challenge for me to wear, but I'm willing to give it a go in the springtime! Probably not in the depths of winter. The other colours though all look super exciting.
And to add to this pencil eyeliner collection I also got the Urban Decay Black Market 24/7 Glide On eye pencil set. These colours all look really wearable and I've heard great things about Urban decay liners so I really wanted to give these a go. There are six colours, West (dark brown pearl), Desperation (matte taupe-grey), Black Market (satin charcoal black), Riot (smoky grey matte with violet and fuschia micro glitters), Apathy (metallic olive green) and Ink (navy pearl).
The last thing from Beauty Bay was the First Aid Beauty Fab Faves To Go set which included smaller versions of their famous Ultra Repair Cream, Face Cleanser and Facial Radiance Pads. I'm not too sure about the pads but I'm definitely really happy with the Ultra Repair Cream and the cleanser. Definitely looking forward to testing those.
And for the money I spent, I also got a premium sample of the Murad Essential-C Cleanser which I've heard pretty good things about.
Moving onto Mecca Maxima. I bought the Origins Out Of Trouble 10 Minute Mask. I heard about this from Essiebutton so I wanted to test it out, and while I was in the store, one of the assistants said it was her favourite mask, so I had to get it.
I also bought the bareMinerals Marvelous Moxie lipgloss and lipstick duo. I wanted to try out their lipstick and I thought this was a good way to do it. I'm not terribly excited about the lipgloss just because I don't like them all too much but I can work with it. The lipstick shade is in Make Your Move (soft neutral pink) and the lipgloss shade is Smooth Talker (shimmery golden pink).
I also got the bareMinerals Concealer in Well Rested. I've heard it's really great at setting undereye concealer and making you look more awake, which is always what I'm after, so I bought it.
The last, and probably most exciting, purchase from Mecca Maxima was the Nars highlighting blush in Albatross. I've been eyeing this for years. Just forever and I finally have it. It's just a beautiful golden highlighter and I can't wait to use it all over my face. I just want to bathe in it. Okay that's strange. Stop.
The last couple of things in this mega haul are from Priceline. The first is the Antipodes Avocado Pear Nourishing Night Cream. I'm almost out of mine so I thought it's be a great time to get a new one to test out. Essiebutton talks about this product a lot so I wanted to test it. I think it's a bit cheaper here in Australia as well since it's a New Zealand product. hurrah!
Well you can certainly tell who I love from my purchases because this last one is also an Essiebutton recommendation (it's the #essiebuttoneffect). It's the Antipodes Apostle skin brightening serum. I didn't need a serum, I just really wanted this so I bought it. And I'm very excited to test this out.
Well that's the end of this mega haul. Hopefully you'll be hearing from me again shortly. Until next time!
