Another month has gone by. I used to think months took forever to go by, but I think scheduling and thinking about posts makes it feel like it literally flew by. Where is all my time?! WHERE HAS JULY GONE?! I suppose it also helps that I'm in break and I just don't want to go back to university. But the time is gone and we must carry on. So off with the favourites!
My first love this month is the Revlon Brow Fantasy in Dark Brown. I'm not going to go to much into detail because I already did a little product rave here about it in my last post actually, so if you're interested, read that! But basically I use it almost everyday, and I'll probably keep going with that until it's gone.
Next, I've been loving my new Stila In The Light palette. I know the palette isn't new, but I recently got it off beautybay and I was so excited! I've been playing with it a little bit and I might put up a review of it later, but for now I'll just say I love it. It's super versatile and I've used it for everyday looks and more dramatic party looks. The shadows are nice and soft and pigmented. Nothing bad to say here.
The next couple of favourites are also things from Stila from my beautybay haul. They're also both eyeliners. They are the Stay All Day Smudge Stick in Damsel and the Stay All Day Waterproof Liner in Intense Black. I tend to use Damsel on a more everyday basis. It's just a nice dark brown that gives my eyes some definition without looking as harsh as black. The formulation is nice and creamy so it's a dream to apply. The liquid liner I use for when I want a more dramatic wing. It's got a nice pointed tip and is just easy to get that nice wing going. Both this liners seriously live up to their name. Legit, they stay all day. In fact it's a nightmare to take them off, but I like that and I like these.
My next favourite is the Nuxe Reve De Miel. For some reason, my skin has just dried out to the point where I could be mummified. My lips have been crackly and dry and peely. Is that TMI? Well this has really been a lifesaver. It has a strange texture as it's quite thick, but not in a gloopy sticky way. I put it on before I go to bed and it leaves my lips feeling nice and nourished when I wake up in the morning.
To go along with the mummified lips is the rest of my skin. Water's just been evaporated out so quickly. So every morning and evening, I use The Body Shop Olive Body Butter to moisturise. It's got a nice thick texture and is absorbed into the skin quite quickly. It leaves my skin feeling soft and moisturised without being too greasy, so I put on my jeans afterwards without feeling like I'm spreading moisturiser on the insides of them.
My last love this month ties in with the dry dry skin. It is my Soap & Glory Heel Genius. I know people don't like feet on the interwebs, but around here we all appreciate some good feet. This leaves them feeling moisturised and uncrackly. I tend to use this most days. I love that the scent is a little bit minty and I just think the feet just need a little love.
So that's the favourites for this month! Look forward to them again next month and hopefully we'll have a few new exciting things to love!
