Empties #1

Welcome to my first ever product empties! It's pretty self explanatory. I just quickly run through all the products I've finished over the last few month, what I thought about them and go over whether or not I'd repurchase them.

The first product here is the Nivea gentle eye makeup remover. To be very honest, I really didn't like this. I felt it was too gentle to remove eye makeup at all. It was fine for eyeshadows but when it came to eyeliner and mascara, it barely removed it. I had to scrub really hard at my eyes to remove it. In the end, I ended up putting it in a little spray container and using it to spot clean my brushes. It was great at that.

The next thing is my Nivea regenerating night cream. It was quite a nice thick moisturiser that left my skin feeling quite nice and hydrated. It was a tad bit greasy, but it wasn't anything I couldn't handle. I did quite like it, but I don't think I'd be repurchasing it anytime soon. I am looking into expanding my skincare regimen and just finding things that are a little more nourishing. But it's not bad.

I also finished up a can of the Batiste dry shampoo in Blush. This is still in the old packaging, that's how long I've had it. But by lord I love this stuff. I go through it so quickly. It is a little powdery and does leave it bit of a grey cast on my hair, but a bit of good tousling can usually work the product through. It's great at sucking up the oils and grease in the hair and can really prolong your hair for another day (or two if you're feeling particularly lazy). Also, this is probably my favourite scent of the bunch as it's quite floral and a little lighter than the other ones. I would definitely repurchase it. In fact I have another can in the old packaging (it was on sale when I bought it), and two other cans in the new packaging.

The next things I finished go along hand in hand. They are the TRESemme Moisture Rich shampoo and conditioner. At first they were really good for my hair. But as time went on it just made my hair feel really greasy and heavy, and buy the end of it, it just wasn't cleaning my hair at all. That may be because it comes in such a giant bottle and maybe it is a little bit too heavy for my hair. However I think I have used ti before and had the same issue. I think there are some other ones in the range that may be better for me, but I probably won't be buying these again.

And the final thing I used up is this Lush Love Lettuce mask. Oh, I loved the smell of this. It had lavender oil in it, so you can just imagine the scent. It was quite a good mask and had ground almonds in it to exfoliate the skin. While it was quite nice, I think it was quite abrasive, so I think I will say no to this particular mask and try out a few others from Lush instead.

So that's what I've finished up in the last few months. It really wasn't all that exciting. Maybe next time there will be some beauty product! Unlikely. Until next time!
