So Priceline, the place of dreams, was having a 40% off skincare sale. Let's just say I was definitely a victim of this sale and get on with the hauling.
I bought a backup of my Neutrogena oil-free eye makeup remover and night calming makeup removing cleansing wipes just because it was on sale and I use both those products quite often, so I though it'd be smart to pick up a backup.
For the sake of trying new things, I also purchased the Yes To Cucumbers hypoallergenic facial towelettes, just to see how they compare to my beloved Neutrogena ones. They are supposed to contain organic cucumber to soothe and reduce the puffiness of skin while removing dead skin cells, aloe vera to gently moisturise and nourish the skin and green tea to treat troubled skin and breakouts. Wow that sounds pretty amazing. I know facial wipes aren't supposed to be the greatest thing but I really love them. On most days, I will use a facial wipe to remove the majority of my face makeup before removing my eye makeup and cleansing my face. On other days when I'm having a major lazy moment, I will just remove it with one wipe and just go to sleep. You know those days. But yeah, let's see how these go. I really love the little plastic seal top as I think that's really secure and airtight, more so than the sticky tab on the Neutrogena wipes.

Moving on to the more exciting purchases, I purchased the Antipodes Ananda antioxidant rich gentle toner. Let's just say I bought this on an impulse and I have no idea if it's good or not. I just needed a toner. It says it contains Waiwera mineral water, Bulgarian rose oil, Mamaku black fern and raspberry seed oil to help with stressed skin. It sounds incredibly exotic. The great thing is it is suitable for most skin types, including sensitive, irritated or sun damaged skin.
The other Antipodes product I got was their Aura Manuka Honey Mask. The packaging really reminds me of Aesop products. I've heard some really nice things about this product and I'm always on the hunt for a good mask to really clean out my skin. Lord knows it needs it. This mask has active manuka honey, which is antibacterial and great for hydrating the skin. It also contains vanilla and mandarin fragances.
Keeping with the mask theme, I purchased the Sanctuary Five Minute Thermal Mask which I've heard incredible things about. Really curious about the warming of the mask. Doesn't that just sound so awesome?! It contains charcoal and kaolin clay to help draw impurities from the skin and clear out the pores. The thermal process is supposed to help with that. It also contains essential oils to soothe and hydrate the skin.
I also bought Bioderma! It really was an impulse buy. I saw it there, it was on sale, into the basket it went. I'm sure everyone knows about Bioderma and how wonderful it is. The micellar water trend has really taken the beauty world by storm. I picked up the Crealine H2O which is a gentle, fragrance-free micellar water that is supposed to easily remove grime and makeup from the skin and leave it feeling nourished and soft.

And onto the most exciting purchases! I bought some products from Indeed Laboratories. I've heard rave reviews about some of their products and I was just dying to give them a shot.
So I picked up their Hydraluron moisture jelly, which contains five super moisturising ingredients, including hyaluronic acid, to leave a protective film over the skin to prevent water loss and lock in the moisture. This just sounds so nourishing and hydrating for my skin. In fact, my skin feels softer just thinking about it. I'm really looking forward to using this.
In conjunction with the moisture jelly, I also picked up the Hydraluron ultimate moisture boosting serum. I've heard just as many wonderful things about this as the moisture jelly, if not more. It contains a pure form of hyaluronic acid and red marine algae that is supposed to "reinforce the skin's natural short and long term moisturisation", reduce skin roughness and restore elasticity and firmness to the skin. It sounds like a miracle product. There is a lot of information on their website which I will link here, so if you're interested check it out.
The final product is the Indeed Labs facial exfoliant. The most exciting thing about this I think is that it is a water activated powder. So the bottle contains this really fine powder that you're supposed to mix with water until it forms a foamy paste that is supposed to polish and exfoliate the skin. It contains bamboo extract, hyaluronic acid, rice bran powder, Okinawa red algae and Bromelain to gently exfoliate the skin without harsh abrasives. They go more into detail about the product here.I find that lots of exfoliators can be really harsh on my skin. Either they dry me out or they are too scratchy and rough, so I'm hoping this will do a fantastic job at really getting in their and removing those dead skin cells from my face. Oh that just sounds horrible.
So that's what I picked up from Priceline. While the sale is over, they always have some good deals, so go check it out and pick up some nice products on the way. And I'll talk to you later!
