I personally feel as if brows are one of the most important and defining features of one's face. They really help make you look more put together just by making them a little fuller and a little more shapely. But at the same time, too much makes you look like you've drawn them on with a black sharpie. You know the look.
As someone with dark hair, it's hard for me to work out how dark is too dark. Adding to that is the fact that my brows really aren't that thick to begin with. I don't have much to work with. So for me, drawing them in so they look natural is a tough thing. Also, I tend to touch them a lot (weird I know, but bear with me) so I need a product that stays put.
My new discovery is the Revlon Brow Fantasy in Dark Brown. It had a pencil on one end and brow gel on the other.
The pencil colour is great. The biggest gripe with cheaper brow products is that they run too red, but this one is great. It's a little ashy which gives the most natural look. It is quite a hard pencil, but not so hard that you're not getting any colour out when you're drawing them in. It's really easy to control and quickly fill those brows in.
The gel is a little strange. It looks coloured but there isn't much pigment in it. It's quite sheer. The texture of it is also quite thin and strange. By itself it doesn't do too much toy lashes, but without it, the product doesn't stay on as long. So it definitely does the job of keeping the colour in place, but it can't be used on it's own. Which is fine by me.
It is definitely cheaper than the Anastasia Brow Wiz and the Hourglass Arch pencil, but it's not the cheapest one out there. But I love that it's still relatively affordable and oh so easy to use. It comes in three shades; Blonde, Brunette and Dark Brown and those three basically encompass all hair colours.
I'd really recommend these. I adore them and use it almost every day, even when I'm not wearing much other makeup. So give it a go!
