Hourglass Ambient Lighting Blush Wardrobe Review

Probably one of my favourite purchases recently is the Hourglass Ambient Lighting Blush Wardrobe. Oh I've been waiting for this baby to hit Australian shelves for months. I didn't even think before putting it in my basket. Oh the beauty of going to Mecca the day new releases come in...

This palette is a set that contains three of Hourglass's famous ambient lighting blushes. Two of the shades are permanent and one is limited edition. The packaging is this gorgeous gold case, which is a little prone to fingerprints, but it's just like all the other powders and blushes in Hourglass's range. The texture of these blushes are oh so fabulous, just like the ambient lighting powders, super soft and finely milled. Each shade is slightly smaller than that of a normal sized blush but they're still large enough to never run out of and they're unscented.

Moving along to the fun part, the two permanent shades are Luminous Flush (chamagne rose) and Mood Exposure (soft plum) and the exclusive shade is Incandescent Light (cool peach). All three shades are beautifully pigmented and give great colour payoff. They're also all super blendable and easy to apply. It's also easy to get away without highlighter because of the glowing effect of these blushes.

I highly recommend you run out and get this palette. It's an absolute must have this season. If you don't buy it for yourself, beg someone else to buy it for you because it is simply amazing. It retails for $76 in Mecca, which is nowhere near cheap, but it's definitely worth the splurge. Stop reading, go out and buy it. Just do it.
