Hauling

I've been on a bit of a shopping spree recently, not exactly sure why. But somehow the urge to expand my beauty stash has hit me, and I caved into the pressure.
My first stop was iHerb. I mainly came here to grab a couple of the Real Techniques brushes for cheap, then I realised they sold Physicians Formula for cheap too. And they have a discount code for first time shoppers. Hell yeah.

The first think I picked up was the Real Techniques Expert Face Brush because I've heard some amazing things about this brush for foundation applications. I really love my buffing brush from Real Techniques and hopeful it'll be just as amazing. It's quite similar to the buffing brush except it's flatter on one side than the other.

I also bought the Real Techniques Sam's Picks Brush Set. I was mainly after the multitasker brush and it came in another set that had less brushes, but there were more in this set that I was interested in than the other one. It comes with a setting brush, a buffing brush, a pointed foundation brush, a crease brush exclusive to this palette and a fine eyeliner brush. I'm really excited to try some of these brushes out, and I'm always n the hunt for the perfect crease blender brush.

I bought the Physicians Formula Youthful Wear Spotless Foundation in Light because of a review I saw on ItsJudyTime and she said it was really amazing. I was choosing between the light shades and the light medium shade and I'm glad I picked this one. The shade looks pretty spot on (haha that's funny because it's called spotless and has spots all over the packaging). I'm so funny.

And the last thing from iHerb was the Physicians Formula Organic Wear Mascara which is another beauty guru induced buy, this time from Tati on GlamLifeGuru. She swears by this mascara and I just wanted to give it a go. It's way too expensive in store for me to consider, but it was super cheap on the site so I just had to!

My next stop was BeautyBay. There were a couple of things I was desperate to buy, so I did a large group order with some of my friends, and ended up getting free express shipping. Oops. And then there was a 20% off sale and all inhibitions went out the window.

What I desperately wanted was the Zoeva Luxe Complete Brush Set. That's what this whole order was for. For so many brushes, it was just so affordable. And the little pouch it comes in is gorgeous too. I'm so excited to give all these brushes a whirl to see what the fuss is about. But if you want it you've got to get in quick. This thing sells out fast.

You might be able to tell I'm on a bit of a brush kick. I've heard some amazing stuff about this brush from Viviannadoesmakeup and her skin is always looking so fantastic, so I had to buy it myself. It's the Louise Young Super Foundation Brush LY34 which she swears buy to apply her foundation. Funnily enough, it is my very first high end brush purchase. I'm definitely excited to give it a go. It feels super soft on the skin, and hopefully it'll apply my foundation like a dream.

I've been dying to get my hands on a navy liquid liner, so when I saw they finally has the Stila Stay All Day Liquid Liner in Midnight, into the cart it went. I've been trying to hunt down the navy shade of this liner for ages and it just wasn't ever in stock. This time it was and I wanted to give it a go. I'm trying to be more adventurous in my makeup, so hopefully this will kick me up the backside to try some new things out.

Ever since my very first Stila Convertible Colour, I've been dying to get my hands on some more. So I bought two in the shades Lilium and Peach Blossom. Lillum is dusty pink colour and peach blossom is a peachy pink. They have the same wonderful formula as my first one and my craving for more has been satisfied. For now. I have my eye on the few darker shades in the range...

I also bought a full size of the First Aid Beauty Facial Radiance Pads. I received a small tub of these a long time ago when I bought the First Aid Beauty set and I started using them recently. I've really been liking them. They're like a chemical exfoliator soaked on this textured pad that buffs the dead cells off the skin. They give a great brightening effect so I've been loving them in the mornings.

Finally, another Viviannadoesmakeup induced buy was the Oskia Renaissance Cleansing Gel. She and LilyPebbles have sworn by this cleanser and I decided to just pick it up. It smells amazing and I'm so excited to give this a go, and hopefully come out the other end with beautiful plump and flawless skin like those girls!

I actually also bought the Stila Eyes are the Window Palette in Mind and the First Aid Beauty Triple Remedy Eye Cream but unfortunately, both of them exploded in transit. So I'm going to get a refund for those and see if I can exchange them and buy it again. This is the second time I've tried to buy this eye cream and both times it has failed. Is it a sign? It better be.

That's all for this haul. I think these posts get really long as I tend to ramble on about the products even though I haven't tried them. It make me feel bad to just state what the product is and move on though. Let me know if there's a more efficient way of doing this. And while you're doing that, I'd love to hear some suggestions of what I should buy next! All the more reason to blow my paycheck!
