Let's take a bit of a step AWAY from the lip products and take a quick peek into cleansing oils. Well just one.
This is the Body Shop Camomile silky cleansing oil. It has camomile oil in it, which gives it its really nice fragrance and helps moisturise and soothe the skin, and is also free from alcohol, colour, artificial fragrances and preservatives. It's really great at removing makeup (even waterproof mascara) and cleansing the skin, leaving you feeling clean and refreshed. I just pump a couple of pumps of this into my hand and then massage the oil onto a dry face, mainly focusing on my eyes. It does feel a little strange at first, but it just takes the makeup off your face. Then I add a little water to my hands and massage my face again. The water causes the oil to emulsify and it turns into a milky cleanser. The best thing is after you wash it off, there's no oily residue, so you're left with a clean bare face.
My only gripe is the packaging. I can't really take it anywhere because it does tend to leak. I'm not sure where from, it might be the closure between the cap and the bottle, but it's not such a huge deal. I love it enough to overlook it.
So that's my first look at a cleansing oil. Let me know if you have any recommendations and I'd gladly check it out. I'm really excited to try some more out.
