Glamglow Thirstymud: I've had a pretty terrible rough patch with my skin recently, and by recently I mean over the last couple of months. It's been oily, dehydrated, flaky (is this TMI?) and just all round angry at me. Thirstymud has been a bit of a lifesaver. I've been using it not as a mask, but as a moisturiser. It does feel a little bit tacky when you start to apply it, but a little goes a long way in making the skin feel softer and more supple. It dealt with my dryness pretty quickly, so instead of disobedient skin, we have skin that looks a bit went into a deep fryer. Okay, so that's exaggerating a little bit, but the mask has been amazing at reducing all the yuckiness that my skin was producing. And it smells like coconuts and tropical holidays. What more could you want?
L'Oreal Lumi Magique in W3 Gold Linen: I may have mentioned last month (and by that I mean April), that I was starting to use concealers to cover my blemishes, rather than foundation. Well, that's gone now and I'm back on the foundation wagon. This is an old favourite of mine from way back when I started using makeup. It's easy to apply, blends nicely and doesn't cling onto those nasty dry patches. I like the finish of it as it's quite similar to Nars Sheer Glow in that it's definitely not matte, but it's not too sheeny either. This shade is now a little too dark for me now that I never see the sunlight. A good one to try out.
Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer in Custard: I'm sure anybody who frequents the beauty blogosphere knows of the praises being sung about the Nars concealer. I will join the choir. I don't understand how I survived without this concealer. it seems to be good at everything. Covering dark circles, blemishes, highlighting. What can't it do? It doesn't crease, it stays on well all day and looks incredibly natural. I can't recommend it enough.
Stila Stay All Day Precision Glide Brow Pencil in Dark Brown: To be honest, I cannot believe I haven't mentioned this before. The Anastasia Brow Wiz, while amazing, is a little bit difficult to get your hands on in Australia. It's sold for a ridiculous amount of money at Sephora and the only other place I know of to buy it is from Beauty Bay, which then takes some time to arrive. Not to mention, with online beauty shopping from overseas, you want to get a little bit more than just one item for the shipping to be worth it. This Stila offering is an incredible dupe. In fact, I can barely tell the difference. They both have skinny nibs and spoolies on the other end. They both are incredibly easy to use and last really well on the brows. And the Stila packaging is prettier. So if the Brow Wiz is just not working for you, I definitely absolutely recommend trying this one out. In fact, I'm pretty sure I have a post about it here, though I'm sure I just covered everything in the last 100 words.
Anastasia Brow Gel in Brunette: To pair with my beloved eyebrow pencil is this brow gel. To be completely honest, I'm not a brow gel aficionado. I only own one other one from Maybelline, and while it was in my favourites a few months ago, I feel like the Anastasia one really blows it out of the water. The pigmentation of this one is actually there and it keeps the brows on better as well, without feeling as crunchy. Also, the brush on the Anastasia one is better. I always feel like the Maybelline one is too fat for my poor, almost non-existent brows.

Nars Tinted Moisturiser in Groenland: With the slight improvement of my skin, I've gone back to easing off the foundations. That and when I'm sleep deprived in the mornings, tinted moisturiser is just faster and easier to not mess up. So I've been slapping on the Nars tinted moisturiser and it's been doing pretty well. The coverage is decent and although it does leave me looking a little greasy at the end of the day, it nothing a little blotting paper won't fix. Though I definitely need to set it with a powder otherwise I do tend to look like a greaseball.
Stila Eyes Are The Window palette in Soul: Now this palette could potentially be the be all and end all of the neutral eyeshadow palette search. It has 12 shades of great Stila shadows in just about every neutral shade you'd ever need for any sort of eye look. Dramatic smoky eyes and neutral eye looks would be dead easy with this palette and it just looks so beautiful as well.
Origins Out of Trouble Mask: I've recently decided that my skin is bipolar. It's good, and then it's crazy. In it's crazier moments when I need some serious assistance, this Origins mask comes to the rescue. I tend to leave it on my T-zone for as long as I can, and you really do notice a difference in the severity of my breakouts immediately after removing it, and the day after.
Lucas Pawpaw Ointment: Every Australian knows the wonder that is Lucas Pawpaw Ointment, and everyone who knows a smidgen about Australian beauty products knows about it too. My lips have decided to rebel along with my kin and have become wonderfully dry. So I've been smearing this over the lips at all hours of day instead of using a lip colour, although lipsticks do sit over this product really well. Not only that, it's multipurpose as well, so if there are any serious dry pathches anywhere on the skin, or rashes or mosquito bites, the ointment also works wonders there as well.
Finally, you've reached the end! I'll try my hardest to keep this up and I hope you stick with me through this. Let's hope I get my act together!
